Sound of the Day Podcast - May 9 2006
Just before preparing dinner or eating (and many other time) you should make the Sound of the Day podcast sound for today. Can you guess what today's Sound is? If so, can you tell us what's missing from the end of this Sound as well?
The Sound of the Day for May 8, 2006 is a tough one to guess! It is the motor of a MiniDisc recorder (i.e. the Sound capturing hardware primarily used for the Sound of the Day) revving up. Every time we record Sounds in a quiet environment, the recorder makes this irritating noise, so we thought it fitting (however obscure) for a Sound of the Day.
