Sound of the Day Podcast - April 16 2006
This sounds a bit like birds, doesn't it? Well, there are birds singing, but the main sound you hear isn't made by a bird at all. The Sound of the Day podcast sound for today is made by a mammal! Can you guess what it is? If so, let us know.
The Sound of the Day for April 15, 2006 does sound like a kind of drum... but it's a two-foot long tightly inflated plastic thunder stick from a game of Arena Football. They're given out to kids who get two of them and twack them together to make lots of noise. We can't find an "official" name or manufaturer for these things, but as soon as we do, you'll get more info!
