After a quite successful month of hosting the show, our dear host for January 2005, Van Anklebend, will be leaving us after today. As with every new month, there is a new host and a new theme for the Sound of the Day. If there is a specific host you would like us to bring back for a guest appearance, post a comment here and let us know.

Also, we have unfortunately had to deviate from our previous plan to use other people's submitted sounds. Although we are very grateful for all the submissions we've had so far, we simply can't use them. This is a very sad and unfortunate decision we've had to make, but one that we've been advised is the only safe legal way to proceed. We still would like to encourage you to make sound requests if you have a sound you would like us to record and play on the show. You will be given credit for your suggestion as well, so be sure to let us know how you want to be credited.
